Multichannel Analyser MCA

The MCA program has been written specifically for use in lab courses dealing with atomic and nuclear physics experiments. Although its primary task was to be used as a multi channel analyser, the MCA program is much more flexible. In particular it has been designed to be extensible by plugins. This means for example, that the MCA program itself has no connection to any hardware, from which it might get its data. This task is delegated to the plugins (see Experiment Plugins), which can add new capabilities without the need to modify the main program.
